Welcome to my ePortfolio! I am currently a second year Masters student in the Public Administration program with a concentration in Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology. I completed my undergraduate degree in 2018 obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in Public Administration.

 

In January 2019, I accepted a position in the Office of the Governor of Alabama, Office of Education and Workforce Transformation. In this role, my background in Public Administration affords me an understanding of the intricacies of policy and administration and the effect they have on education. This position aligns with my professional interest in working in the public sector, shaping policy concerning public education. Once I receive my MPA in May, I will begin to work on a Ph.D. in Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology from the College of Education at Auburn University where I will focus on educating geographically disadvantaged populations at each level of education.
